The best poverty elevation program is a good-paying job. Victory Project believes this so much that we've employed young men for over 15 years through our exclusive work ethic development curriculum. Last year alone, over 70 entered the workforce for the first time. You can help us by supporting our Victory Over Poverty campaign - https://lnkd.in/gbKC886K.

Offering an alternative to the street for America's youth
About us
Victory Project specializes in mentoring court-involved, disadvantaged young men in Montgomery County. Since 2007, we’ve sought to undo the isolating experiences of poverty and fatherlessness in young men’s lives and expose them to the potential of a positive socioeconomic standing through our 3 E emphases: education, entrepreneurship, and enlightenment. The Victory Project is a registered 501c3 faith-based, not-for-profit organization. We currently serve up to 40 student at a time in our facility, which is located at 409 Troy Street, Dayton, Ohio 45404.

We have an annual onsite/offsite meeting to choose a theme that will serve as a guidepost to keep us focused and moving toward our individual and common goals for the coming school year. This season's theme is 'cultural continuity,' staying true to what makes the VP uniquely designed to be an alternative to the street. As we build capacity through our Victory Over Poverty Campaign, we understand that processes may change, but our principles should not.

Grateful & Proud. Thanks, Montgomery County ADAMHS, for inviting a VP student to speak at the youth mental health/education summit at Sinclair Community College. Dominic did a fantastic job! He was the only panelist to share his faith and the need for practical school courses, such as "managing money and more trades." We also ran into Ashton, a VP alumnus, who congratulated Dominic and added that we had him speak in public when he was a member 15 years ago!

We have produced a culture book to help define Victory Project's 'Why' behind the 'How.' The book's primary purpose is to stay true to our mission as we grow and share our unique approach to developing a culture that produces long-lasting results. Even if you're unfamiliar with VP, we hope it encourages people to seek God in everything you do.
