  • VibrantCare’s 2024 Q2 Golden Mouse Winner : Joseph Udell "Kerry", Our Equipment and Storage Facilities Specialist (and all-around helper) Kerry has been an integral part of the VibrantCare team for 28 years. He is someone that has helped in every clinic, in every market. Our California markets have the luck of being near his hometown meaning he is able to assist with mechanical needs small and large on a regular basis. He has been instrumental in keeping our facilities in good working order for many years! Got a clinic move? Kerry’s got it! Buying a bunch of equipment? Kerry’s there! Got medical records you need to move to storage? Kerry’s your guy! Got a squeak on that UBE? A table that quit rising/lowering? How about the cable machine that just isn’t quite right? You got – Kerry! If there is one random thing that Kerry is unable to fix – he will also go the extra mile to get you in the correct direction to get it fixed. Kerry has this immense amount of knowledge and resources combined with determination to make it right. We are very blessed to have such a valuable team member to depend on in our times of need. He is certainly a wonderful example for OneTeam|OneVision and helping us to be able to be present in the communities we serve. Thank you Kerry for all that you do! Please join me in congratulating Kerry on being the second recipient of our newly revamped program. Kerry – a simple thank you would never be enough for all that you give to the team each day. Keep up the great work! Honorable Mentions: This quarter’s honorable mentions include Nia Venegas (SAC), Hima Kothari (BAY), Dre Medlock (WSS) and Justin Best (AZ). Thank you for all that you do every day! What is the Golden Mouse? This is a peer recognition program where nominations are received from team members for a job well done. These nominations usually go to someone who really went above and beyond the normal to help out the team or patients.

  • VibrantCare provided another successful Continuing Education opportunity in April; DIN2, Electrical and Perineural Dry Needling Strategies, hosted by the AZ Market. With 20 participants from Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, WA and Santa Cruz, CA present for this extensive course; education, comradery and fun were not in short supply. After 2 very long days, participants took a break and were treated to an evening of “Arizona Chill”. Tacos, Paddleboarding and chillin’ were the theme of the night. A long day Sunday concluded this valuable course, adding another tool to the VibrantCare Clinician toolbox. Who says learning can’t be FUN! The East Bay-CA Market will be hosting the Fall 2024 CEU , will YOU be there? #hiring

As I hope all of you would expect, I am very passionate about what we do every day for our patients via Physical Therapy. I believe we are truly blessed to have the opportunity to restore function and create a better quality of life for the patients we serve. Whether you are on the front lines providing care to patients or in a back office (E.g. billing office), we all have an impact in the patients’ lives we treat daily.  It has been my goal over the last few years to really highlight what we do inside and outside VibrantCare. One of the outside opportunities came via Indeed. We worked with Indeed to highlight the day in the life of a Physical Therapist. With Indeed’s reach, I hope we can share with the Physical Therapy community what we do each and every day here at VibrantCare. Click the link below to watch the video “A day in the life of a Physical Therapist” that features our very own Kerilyn Graham! Thank you Kerilyn for your willingness to go on the national stage to demonstrate what we do daily! https://lnkd.in/gdJsaq9S I would truly appreciate it if you would take the time to view the video and to share it with as many people as you can and in particular with others in our industry. I am hopeful that this video will demonstrate our commitment to quality patient care and help more people consider Physical Therapy as a career path. I certainly appreciate Sherry Schroyer (our VP of Sales and Marketing) for her diligence in working with Indeed to make this video a reality and to Kerilyn for her willingness to represent us in this video!

2024 Q1 GOLDEN MOUSE* Winner: DIXIE GORUN, On Site WA Clinician! Dixie Gorun has been an integral part of the VibrantCare Onsite team for 14 years this Friday 3-8-24. She is a passionate Physical Therapy Assistant who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our patients and her fellow VibrantCare teammates. She was promoted to Site Supervisor in March of 2023 overseeing the Onsite Rehab Aid staff and our front office operations. She has excelled in this new role and has been instrumental in keeping consistency and continuity among our teammates while we navigate staffing volumes and travelers.     During her first 4 years at Onsite, she worked alongside Kari Kockler to learn and master the Onsite Work Hardening and Work Conditioning program elements.  Her eagerness to learn and her commitment to excellence has helped her understands the nuances of the Onsite process and the close partnership we have with our Onsite customers Workers Compensation teams. She is a key asset when training new aid staff and therapy staff in the delicate details of transferring our physical therapy knowledge into the Onsite setting.     Over the last 6 months, Dixie has brought our deferred patient volume down to less than 10% and has ensured our patients do not have long gaps in care between authorized visits by developing strong partnerships with insurance examiners, nurses and Utilization review teams. She is well respected by her teammates for her knowledge of onsite and is committed to VibrantCare success in fulfilling our mission to be the "Best Rehab Provider in the Community We Serve".    Please join me in congratulating Dixie on being the first recipient of our newly revamped program. Please join us in congratulating our Onsite Clinical Operations Director, Kari Kockler, for 23 years of excellence while servicing our industrial clients.    Kari is no stranger to putting herself in her patients’ and their employers’ shoes, literally. From strapping on spikes and climbing up a pole, to climbing into industrial equipment and machinery to better understand the scope of injury and how to treat them, is commonplace for Kari. She has a unique ability to understand what the job requirements are in the industrial setting, so she can design a rehab program specifically for the patient, their job and the employer, to strengthen, condition and reduce risk of further injury and fatigue.   Kari is a dynamic therapist who is passionate about serving our clients and their employees. She is equally as passionate about coaching and mentoring. With 30+ years of playing and coaching volleyball, Kari understands what it means to work as a team. As an avid outdoor enthusiast, Kari also appreciates taking time for self-reflection and self-improvement.  Her desire to partner with her team, our clients and their staff, is undeniable. It has often been said, her enthusiasm is infectious, making her team and those around her, want to be better and do better.   Congratulations Kari! We are truly a better organization with you as part of our Leadership Team!
