Hello Veterinary Practice Partners Community, Please give Dr. Emma Kindig a warm welcome by saying hi! Dr. Emma Kindig is an associate veterinarian at Caring Hands Animal Hospital of Clarendon. She earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Colorado State University after receiving her bachelor's in biology from Tufts University. Dr. Kindig began exploring veterinary medicine when she lived with several pre-vet students during her junior year abroad in Tanzania. Since then, she's become passionate about primary care and building long-lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Her professional interests include internal medicine, client communication, urgent care, and dermatology. Dr. Kindig grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, and she's excited to return to the region. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games with her friends, spending time out in nature, and attending Spirit games in the summer or Capitals games in the winter.

Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Chin is a true Miami native who loves good colada and crispy croquetas. Her journey in veterinary medicine took her to the picturesque island of Grenada, where she studied and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George's University. She did her clinical year at the University of Florida. Dr. Chin is happy to be back in Miami, ready to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. Her multiple interests and passion for animal care drive Dr. Chin's career. She loves surgery and dentistry, always keeping up with the latest advancements to deliver top-notch care in every procedure. Her experience in shelter medicine allows her to better serve the different dog and cat rescues we collaborate with at Amor Animal Hospital. Dr. Chin is also adept at managing chronic cases, from internal medicine patients suffering from gastrointestinal issues to diabetes, and even treating common eye conditions such as conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers. At home, Dr. Chin and her fiancé, Nicholas, are the proud "pawrents" of an energetic and lovable pug named Boba T. Due to Boba T's allergy issues, Dr. Chin has become well-acquainted with pet allergies, giving her unique insight and empathy for pet parents facing similar challenges. When she's not at the hospital, Dr. Chin loves to stay active with workouts, explore new travel destinations, discover the latest food spots around Miami, and catch up on her ever-growing book list. Her latest read was A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR), which she highly recommends! In her spare time, Dr. Brown loves horseback riding and spending quality time with her family and her pets, two cats and a dog.

Hello Veterinary Practice Partners Community, Please give Dr. Katie Linderman a warm welcome by saying hi! Dr. Katie Linderman has lived most of her life around Chattanooga, Tennessee. She recently relocated to the Asheville area, having always loved the mountains, waterways, and the local culture. As an equine enthusiast, Dr. Linderman has owned many horses throughout her life, including four brilliant Friesians. She has since adopted a simpler life, which she shares with her Aussidor, who frequently accompanies her on local trails. Showing an aptitude as a child for math and physics, she was recruited by Dr. Ray Hefferlin into the physics department at Southern University in Collegedale, TN, where she studied physics and math. Instead of continuing with a physics career, she decided to follow her lifelong passion for animals and entered the veterinary program at UT Knoxville, where she obtained her doctorate degree in 1998. After working for a few different veterinary hospitals in the Chattanooga area, she purchased her own clinic, Standifer Gap Pet Hospital, in 2005. Always one to keep honing her skills, she saw a need for animal dentistry in the region and began to study with multiple board-certified veterinary dentists around the United States. Until her move, she established herself as the veterinary dentist of Greater Chattanooga, accepting referrals from a ninety-mile radius for advanced dental procedures. We are excited to have Dr. Linderman who will focus exclusively on performing dentistry procedures, particularly more advanced ones, distinguishing her role from that of a general practice DVM here at Haw Creek Animal Hospital.

Hello Veterinary Practice Partners, Please give Dr. Elise R. Gutierrez a warm welcome by saying hi! Dr. Elise R. Gutierrez grew up in a Border town in South Texas. She had many pets growing up and always dreamed of helping animals. Dr. Gutierrez attended Texas A&M International University and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. During this time, she used all her spare time to volunteer at local shelters and veterinary hospitals. Dr. Gutierrez attended St. George’s University on the beautiful island of Grenada to study Veterinary medicine. Although she was a dedicated student and maintained her studies, she always made time to enjoy the beautiful beaches and breathtaking hikes. She was the historian for the Herpetological Society and volunteered with Ocean Spirits to aid in Leatherback sea turtle conservation. Dr. Gutierrez graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in June of 2024. Her special interests include exotic animal medicine and integrative medicine. Dr. Gutierrez is elated to use her knowledge to assist the pet owners of this community and treat all their furry and scaly friends. She also hopes to volunteer with a local wildlife rescue in her free time. Dr. Gutierrez recently moved to Clearwater, Florida, near the ocean, of course! She brought her Dog Ginger, her cat Olivander, and her snake Nagini. In her free time, Dr. Gutierrez enjoys long walks on the beach with her dog, painting, going to concerts, and finding the best food and cocktails in town. She is looking forward to future opportunities to explore tropical destinations and their creatures, too!

She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2020, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Dr. Delger has a passion for preventative care and surgery. She began her career in the veterinary field in 2014 as a kennel technician during a summer job in high school. She continued to grow in her role and became a technician by the time she started veterinary school in 2020. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Delger spent eight years pursuing her education in Baton Rouge. She moved to this area to enjoy Florida's beaches and nature, along with her fiancé, her orange tabby, Toast, and her terrier mix, Dany. She enjoys exploring the local beaches, farmers markets, breweries, and wineries in her free time.
