Veterans helping veterans, with transitioning, community service, and restoring camaraderie.

About us

The VBC vision is a monthly rotation of gatherings with fellow active, retired, and reserve veterans at different brewery locations across San Diego County in a relaxed environment. The VBC purpose is three-fold: first, assist transitioning service members through networking, discussions of important events, introductions to industries across the region, and ensuring service members are personally introduced to leaders in aforementioned groups. The VBC believes by supporting, vetting, and assisting noteworthy organizations that legitimately help veterans this will also help the entire San Diego community. Second, translate our military service to community service, ensuring we continue our leadership into non-profit, volunteer, and civil service organizations. Lastly, continue our sense of camaraderie, thus safeguarding the bonds established during our military service, and ensuring there is a safety net of resources for veterans. VBC will continue to interface with senior veterans and business leaders in the community, and leverage their passion for assisting fellow veterans.

Good Afternoon VBC’ers, we are so excited about tomorrow’s joint SDMAC USCG VBC event. Here are some instructions that will ensure a fun and painless experience tomorrow: 1.        You MUST be on the list. Yes, I hear it you got a military ID, but we are limited, and we have already fill all the spots, thus you MUST be on the list. 2.        To get there, put “New Point Loma Lighthouse” in your mapping app. 3.        There is no cell phone coverage. 4.        You need to bring cash, cash, cash, as there is no cell phone coverage. 5.        Carpool, carpool, carpool! 6.        When you park, get really tight with the parking. 7.        It’ll be a bit warm, so California business casual attire is the “non-uniform of the day”. Please help us with the instructions, we are so grateful to be hosted by Coast Guard Sector San Diego and want to continue this annual event! Sincerely, VBC San Diego Leadership Team “Brewing Authenticate Connections since 2016!”

TONIGHT, TONIGHT, TONIGHT! Looking forward to seeing you all at Protector Brewery from 5 - 9 pm. Great news, we have more parking!! You can park along the road, across the street at Performance Archery, Serpentine Cider Miramar, Carpenters Local 619 Union, and at Rainbow Stone. Please DO NOT park in front of West Coast Auto Gallery, they are still open through 7 pm. While I know NONE OF YOU would do this, but they asked me to make sure there's no trash in the parking lots. Please pass the word to anyone attending this evening. #veteransbeerclub #veteransupport #veteranshelpingveterans #veterans
