DARS' mission is to improve the employment, quality of life, security, and independence of older Virginians, Virginians with disabilities, and their families. DARS services include vocational rehabilitation, resident-based vocational training through the Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center, Aging Services, Community-Based Services, Disability Determination Services, Adult Protective Services, and the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman.
