About us
The United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA) serves Mobile, Washington and Clarke Counties. We're thrilled to announce that our mural, "United Way of Southwest Alabama: Building A Better Community," has been added to The Alabama Mural Trail! We are proud to join the collection of beautiful murals in Mobile County and throughout the state. Designed by the talented local artist Ginger Woechan and brought to life by the skilled artists of the Mobile Arts Council, this mural was a key feature of the 2020 Pledge Project. This initiative aimed to raise funds for over 2,000 children and families on waiting lists for agency services in Southwest Alabama. We look forward to welcoming visitors to enjoy our mural and all the other public art downtown. Come see it for yourself and celebrate the vibrant art scene in our community!
