About us
TRADOC recruits, trains, and educates Soldiers, develops leaders, supports training in units, develops doctrine, establishes standards, and builds the U.S. Army by developing and integrating operational and functional concepts and organizational designs for the fielded force. TRADOC is a learning organization that evolves and adapts. When we say "Victory Starts Here," it means something. It's more than a hashtag. It's the training, maintaining, teamwork, morale and discipline we put in place to develop young people into Army professionals. TRADOC is about people and preparing them to be ready to win on any battlefield. Nobody in the world develops people or builds Soldiers for Life as well as TRADOC.

Soldiers and Civilians from Fort Gregg-Adams and Fort Barfoot came together in a joint environmental cleanup! Throughout the years, service members and civilians taking part in the Clean the Bay Program have made significant contributions to cleaner rivers and streams and a healthier Chesapeake Bay. “The trash found in Training Area 14 will eventually make its way into the Chesapeake Bay,” said Directorate of Public Works Wildlife Biologist Shannon Scully. “It’s important for us to monitor and protect this area from becoming polluted.” Read more here ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eG-Wna8k #VictoryStartsHere

The U.S. Army Partnership for Your Success (PaYS) Program team attended the 2024 Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) conference in Chicago where they spent time connecting with passionate HR professionals and sharing insight on the PaYS program and what it has to offer its industry partners! The conference was a great chance to network and expand the program's reach for potential partners as we continue building strong, Veteran-inclusive workforces. #SHRMChicago #PaYSProgram #VeteranEmployment #StrengtheningTheProfession #TalentManagement US Army

Congratulations to Master Sgt. Shay Howlett for earning the title of 2024 U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Instructor of the Year! “I continue to serve in the Army because of the Soldiers I am surrounded with,” Master Sgt. Howlett said. “Each relationship I have has developed me in some way, through either positional power or more often personal power. The Army has afforded my family a quality of life and opportunities we may not have had otherwise.” Read more about Howlett's #ArmyStory below! #VictoryStartsHere #InstructorOfTheYear #ArmyValues #StrengtheningTheProfession

Happy #IndependenceDay!🇺🇸🎆 #DYK On July 9, 1776, George Washington informed the troops that Congress had formally dissolved the connection between this country and Great Britain and declared the Colonies free and independent states. On July 4, 1778, Washington and the American Army celebrated the second anniversary of the signing of New Jersey with cannon fire and a musket salute. It wasn’t until after the War of 1812 that observing Independence Day became commonplace.

Friendly reminder from the TRADOC safety office: Fireworks are a popular part of holiday celebrations, but they are a danger to users, bystanders, pets, and the environment. The National Fire Protection Association urges people to view fireworks at a public display put on by trained professionals. Permanent scarring, loss of vision, dismemberment – these are too often the harsh realities of amateur fireworks use. Enjoy the Independence Day holiday and celebrate safely! #SafetyFirstFriday #FourthofJuly #IndependenceDay

It's always great when we can share what we do with local educators in the community!🧑🏫 A group of educators from Harrisburg, PA had the opportunity to visit MEDCoE (US Army Medical Center of Excellence) as part of a tour of Fort Sam Houston to educate and inform them of the medical school programs offered through the military service branch! After a command briefing the group visited Dental Science, Preventive Medicine, Nurse Anesthesia and Licensed Practical Nurse programs. After lunching at the Rocco dining facility, the group later visited the Animal Care Program at Veterinary Science. #BeAllYouCanBe #ArmyCareers US Army
