This #SoccerDay, we're giving a major shoutout to soccer superstar Alphonso Davies! Alphonso was born in a refugee camp in Ghana after his parents fled war in Liberia. Today, he uses his experience and platform, as a professional soccer player and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, to empower refugees and educate people worldwide about the global refugee crisis.
