  • LTC Christopher Brossart, J-6 of the Minnesota National Guard, recently visited the United States Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) headquarters at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. The purpose of his visit was to engage in meaningful discussions regarding the structure and capabilities of NETCOM, as well as to explore how NETCOM can better support its National Guard partners in achieving decision dominance. During his visit, LTC Brossart was briefed on NETCOM’s operations and its critical role in maintaining the U.S. Army’s network and information technology resources. He expressed appreciation for the Command’s efforts in enhancing communication and operational effectiveness across various military branches. “Decision dominance is essential for our forces to operate effectively in today’s complex environments,” noted LTC Brossart. “By collaborating closely with NETCOM, we can leverage their technological expertise to enhance our readiness and responsiveness.” The discussions highlighted current initiatives designed to strengthen the synergy between NETCOM and National Guard units. With the increasing importance of cyber capabilities and secure communication channels, the partnership aims to ensure that stateside and deployed forces have seamless access to information and support. LTC Brossart also emphasized the need for ongoing communication and collaboration between NETCOM and National Guard leaders to adapt to ever-evolving challenges in military operations.   • Happy National Be a Good Teammate Day! And there is none better than the global team at NETCOM. On 26 June 2024, Soldiers from the US Army Reserve Carpentry and Masonry MOS reclassification course, hosted by the 102d Training Division, 80th Training Command, installed a gazebo for the NEC – Fort Dix at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. The course NCOIC, SFC Michael Ramos coordinated with NEC employees Jennifer Feliciano, Eric Monahan, and Paul Stengele to complete the gazebo as part of the Soldiers’ training, and will serve as a rally point for emergency evacuations, and as an outdoor break area.

  • NETCOM hosted the Fort Huachuca Installation Retirement Ceremony on historical Brown Parade Field this morning to recognize and celebrate the successes and milestones of nine great Americans. Although this ceremony symbolizes a end to their careers, it is the beginning of a new adventure and chapter in their life story. MG Christopher Eubank thanked each retiree and their devoted family members for their dedication and service. "Your jobs will be different, but you will always be part of the military community and family" said MG Eubank. Congratulations on a job well done!

  • NETCOM held a Assumption of Responsibility and Establishment Ceremony for the U.S. Army Global Cyber Center (GCC) this morning, July 3 at NETCOM Headquarters at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. LTC (P) Victor Yinh accepted the role as the GCC Director, tasked by MG Christopher Eubank, to conduct continuous operations and defense of networks in support of cyberspace operations. As well as overseeing the Regional Cyber Centers' 24/7 centralized operations.   • On June 27, 2024, members of the NETCOM team attended the Knowledge Management Representative Course (KMRC) designed to equip individuals with effective KM practices and activities within their organizations. The course is designed to teach the participates how to identify knowledge gaps, assess the effectiveness of KM efforts, and contribute to successful KM in areas such as knowledge brokering, advocacy, and support. COL Robert H. Topper, Chief of Staff presents a CG coin and Star Note to Mr. Dave Freeman in thanks for his instruction of the course.
