We established Urology of St. Louis (USL) in January 2019 by uniting the region’s two oldest and most reputable urologic practices: St. Louis Urological Surgeons and Urology Consultants. The decision to combine practices stemmed from a common desire to “be the solution” for urologic care across the St. Louis metropolitan area. USL commits to creating value for our patients by providing comprehensive and quality urologic care at a lower cost.

It’s estimated that 1 in 11 men have penile curvature, also known as Peyronie’s disease, but the condition is treatable. Penile curvature is caused by scar tissue in the erectile body of the penis, and the scar tissue leads to a curvature or bending of a man’s erection. This can make sexual intercourse painful. Treatment includes non-surgical methods like monitoring the disease, stretching or in-office injections. Surgical treatments include plication, grafting or an implant.
