A couple of years of work and many, many, many sample rounds to get this right, and now it's finally here! All plants, zero plastic socks with lots of geeky detail if you're into that sort of thing, like natural latex wrapped in corn based PLA to give you stretch in all the right places. Bringing PDX back step by step 🙏🙏
I know we're all ready for the weekend, but if you want one last story to read this week, make it this one. Elias Stahl and Matthew Claudel showed me around 333 NW 5th Avenue yesterday, which is the first building of the $125M Made in Old Town sustainable footwear and apparel hub to go under contract. What these two + OLD TOWN COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION are aiming to do for the neighborhood could be revolutionary. Super excited to see what comes next!
