United Way of Delaware and partner Let's Grow Act Win were honored to celebrate with the New Castle County Hope Center as Senator Thomas Carper, Senator Chris Coons, and Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester announced $1.9 million in funding for renovations and transportation services! John L. Williams, Executive Director of Let's Grow Act Win, proudly gave Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester a tour of the on-site Academic Enrichment Center and Delaware 211 Concierge Services Program. This program provides personalized support for the children and families at the Hope Center, offering essential services, academic resources, and emotional support. The center offers free afterschool and out-of-school time learning opportunities for youth in Kindergarten through 8th Grade, helping them maintain their academics, build developmental assets, and strengthen social-emotional skills during this time of transition.
