Making strides in #SupplierDiversity!
I am thrilled to congratulate University of Massachusetts Chief Procurement Officer David C. for being named 2024 Pacesetters Champion of the Year by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. David and the entire team have worked tirelessly to improve the university's overall procurement operation, with a key focus on increasing supplier diversity and driving efficiency and effectiveness. Since we hired David as the university's first CPO in 2019, our annual spending with diverse suppliers has doubled. We've accomplished this while still leading an E&E program that is on track to save more than $120 million. I am incredibly proud of how far we have come together and grateful to the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce for this recognition.

Actively looking for opportunities | Business Analyst | Data Visualization | Moderator, Data+Women New England TUG | Sharing data insights with Tableau, SQL, Excel | Project Management
🎓 Reflecting on an enriching journey as a Business Associate Intern at the University of Massachusetts, which came to an end this May. Over the past year and a half, I've had the privilege to delve into the world of business operations, problem-solving, and project management, starting from January 2023. 💼 In this role, I took charge of managing business queries and cases, employing intricate problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on. But the journey didn't stop there! I also had the exciting opportunity to work on transformative projects, including leveraging Tableau to analyze Zoom call center data and craft insightful dashboards for call center analytics. 📊 🌟 Each project presented a unique set of challenges, allowing me to hone my analytical abilities and develop a keen eye for interpreting data trends. But more than just skill-building, it was the collaborative spirit and support from my colleagues that made this experience truly memorable. 🙏 As I bid farewell to this chapter, I am immensely grateful for the mentorship, guidance, and camaraderie that defined my time as an intern. To Amanda Onwuka, PMP, David C., Sumera Bhatti, Maria McKinney, Garret Oliver, Akshit Mehta and the entire team at the Unified Procurement Services Team (UPST), thank you for believing in me and providing me with opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. 🔍 As I embark on the next phase of my career journey, I am excited to explore opportunities in roles such as Business analyst, Process management, and Data analyst, and Product Management roles. If your organization values a seasoned data professional who brings a balance of strategic insight and Business acumen, I am eager to discuss how my background can contribute to your success. Let's connect and take the conversation forward!😊 #BusinessAnalyst #ProcessManagement #DataAnalyst #InternshipExperience #ProblemSolving #ProjectManagement #DataVisualization #Gratitude #ProfessionalGrowth #UMassIntern #JobSearch #JobOpportunity #DataAnalytics #Networking #OpenToWork

What a great event! Thank you to Yolanda L. for your insights and collaboration! #UMassProud #AAPI #PintrestPredictions
I had the pleasure of having my good friend, Yolanda L. , Global Head of Agency Partnerships at Pinterest join UMass to discuss how data is used to predict what will be the next set of cool trends (Pinterest predictions), how platforms like Pinterest can be used to promote positivity and methods for parents to consider how to apply methods to mitigate the risk exposure of social media on our children while taking a moment to celebrate AAPI and Mental Health Awareness this month. Yolanda was terrific in fielding some career, Pinterest and stakeholder engagement related questions from the audience.
