UK St. Claire is excited to welcome Christopher Kubajak, MD, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon! Born and raised in Lexington, KY, Kubajak earned a medical degree from the University of Kentucky before completing his residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Kentucky. Throughout his training, he developed an interest in the management of hand and wrist disorders and completed a fellowship in Hand Surgery at New York University. Kubajak and his family are excited to be back in the Bluegrass and for the opportunity to develop the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgical subspecialty service at UK St. Claire. "Plastic Surgery is an incredible field, and the training I’ve received allows me to treat all ages and socioeconomic groups through aesthetic surgeries to more complex reconstructive surgery following trauma or cancer. I’m passionate about working to improve my patient’s quality of life, and it is a privilege working to restore their form and function lost to injury or deformity." Outside of the hospital, Kubajak enjoys spending his time with his beautiful family, woodworking, and golfing as often as possible.
