Heart health holds a deeply personal significance for me. The loss of my beloved father to heart disease and the near loss of my twin brother, Nicholas Weber, to a heart attack are experiences that have left an indelible mark on my life. These profound moments are the catalyst behind Ucardia’s mission. At Ucardia, we're committed to changing the narrative surrounding heart disease, the world's leading cause of death. We envision a world where everyone has equitable access to heart health services, and we're looking for highly skilled and compassionate individuals to join us in this journey. We're thrilled to offer an incredible opportunity to join our team as a Heart Coach in our Prevention and Recovery positions. These part-time, fully remote contract positions are more than just a job—they're a chance to be at the forefront of heart health coaching and make a meaningful difference in people's lives. We're looking for individuals who: - Have a deep passion and commitment for improving the quality of life and are dedicated to empowering others in their heart health journey. - Are part of the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching, Wellcoaches, or American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness) community and are looking to make a positive impact in the field of heart health. - Ideally hold a Certified Personal Trainer certification or RD credential to provide our members with top-notch guidance and support. - Additionally, if you're a part of the Clinical Exercise Physiology Association (CEPA) and American College of Sports Medicine community, we invite you to explore our Heart Coach (Recovery) position, designed to utilize your expertise in supporting heart health recovery. Join us in shaping a future where everyone has access to the heart health care they need. Your expertise, compassion, and dedication are important in driving this inclusive change. ❤️ Ready to make a meaningful difference? Today marks a significant milestone in my life—a decade without my dad. His sudden passing was a stark reminder of life's fleeting nature, emphasizing the irreplaceable value of time spent with loved ones. My dad, a valiant naval fighter pilot in World War II, devoted his youth to serving for a better tomorrow. His altruistic spirit, courage, and dedication have always inspired me. Following his path, but in a different realm, I am driven to contribute towards a healthier future for all. Heart disease, the silent killer, snatched my father away from his loving wife and three boys, underscoring the imperativeness of prioritizing our health amidst the hustle of daily life. It's a mission close to my heart, advocating for proactive heart health measures, to ensure we all have many more cherished moments with our loved ones. As I reflect on the precious memories with my dad, I am fueled to work tirelessly in promoting heart health awareness. His legacy of service lives on through my endeavors, pushing me to make every day count, not just for myself, but for others. Today, I invite you to join me in honoring my father's memory by embracing the essence of life—love, health, and service. Let's cherish the time we have with our family and friends, and work together towards a heart-healthy world for generations to enjoy.
