Thank you to The American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Patra Wroten for the AIA Architect article on my recent grand-prize winning submission for the AIA24 Designing Together Contest, "A Bi-National Park for Ambos Nogales." Winning the grand-prize afforded me the opportunity to attend the AIA24 National Conference in Washington, D.C. where I had the chance to meet and learn from fellow impassioned professionals from across the country in the AEC industry. Congratulations to my fellow finalists. A special thanks to the team of AIA members and staff who put together this terrific competition, and a HUGE thanks to the extensive team who put together an incredible conference this year in D.C. Your efforts rendered a remarkable experience. I am extremely grateful for my supportive community of colleagues, friends and family that amplified my submission on social media, I couldn't have done it without you all. Thank you to the supportive professional communities who have propelled me in my early professional endeavors: AIA Arizona, University of Arizona College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture, Nelsen Partners | Architects & Planners. Finally, a very warm thank you to my community of Nogales - I carry you with me always. You can check out the article at the link below: https://lnkd.in/gNReqgiU
