Have you ever wanted to give users complete transparency on the emails they receive? I did too, and I've been building an app that has just that feature! Here's how I did it: 1️⃣ Choosing the right email platform: I needed a platform that emits events for every email interaction – sent, received, opened, clicked, and more. The clear choice? Resend 🥇 2️⃣ Selecting the ideal database: Testing locally, ability to embed locally on my server, and ease of use were my top criteria. My choice... Turso 😉 I believe more platforms should be transparent and provide logs into the communications received, data tracked, etc. Now, users who login to my app can go to their Settings > Audit Logs, and see emails. Next I'll be exploring how to capture `page_views` and `track_event` with Kafka! If you're interested in email transparency, or building similar features, this might be the guide for you. Let me know what you think! https://tur.so/resend

Embedded Replicas with Turso are FAST, but that's not my favorite thing about them. What I like the most is how giving you a full copy of your database allows you to do whatever the heck you want, without ever fearing disrupting anything for your team. I wrote a few words about it. Read on!
An article by Glauber Costa about Embedded Replicas and how they can alleviate shared resource bottlenecks and increase speed https://lnkd.in/gqZPD83c #sqlite #embedded #turso #libsql #replication

🛳️ As we wrap up another cycle, we've put together the greatest hits of what we've been shipping out the past few weeks 👇 🏷️ First off, goodbye migraines related to caching. Thanks to some magic from Silvano and Stefano, we've rolled out DatoCMS Cache Tags to achieve effortless, precise page regeneration on content changes: https://lnkd.in/eWBX4heY 🤬 Hate signing up to SaaS tools to try them out? Yeah, us too. So Stefano went into cowboy mode with Matteo, and shipped a new one-click DatoCMS Demo experience. No email, no signup, nothing. Just click the link and check it out: https://try.datocms.com/ ⚙️ Working on Cache Tags brought us a bit closer to our friends at Turso, so we've got a shiny new Next.js demo using sqlite.new to create a database in seconds. Here's what Alessio and Jamie have to say about it: https://lnkd.in/e6PF_4iS 📹 For you video-heavy users, we also doubled down on our love for Mux by rolling out 4K streaming, subtitle auto-generation, and (heh 😅), auto-generated subtitle adjustments and fixes: https://lnkd.in/gExkYmBa 💅 And finally, Irene's also revamped the project creation flow in the Dashboard, making it super intuitive when Starters are your go-to choice: https://lnkd.in/eR78-gps That's it for this one! Looking for the web version? Here's the deets in the Newsletter - https://lnkd.in/ez6ENvPd ✌️

Hey all! I am glad to share my very first blog post in English. I have been postponing this for a while but better later than never right? 😅 In this post, I benchmark a .NET lambda function using libSQL from Turso as DB. The performance is just insane 🔥 🚀 Feedback and tips are appreciated. https://lnkd.in/ekC8NVu7
You should try .NET + libSQL, and here’s why
