Metafy is arguably the leading brand when it comes to Coaching x Gaming, and we're only getting started. 🎖 After proving out the model of one-to-one coaching with tens of thousands of players, we're expanding to help the community access, engage, and support their favorite Gamers, Creators, and Teams! I share a lot on Dribbble. At Metafy we work in public so I get to share designs before they hit code or in some cases before they're even finalized. Dribbble gets to be my art director (they're a terrible art director) and I figured why not LinkedIn too. So here's a sliver of a sliver of a feature we're working on this week. This one was a surprisingly difficult challenge to solve. We needed to display two prices for one product but one price was monthly while the other was a one time payment. We needed to convey the value of monthly while also ensuring it was clear you'd be charged differently (is d̶a̶r̶k̶ grey UX a thing?). The approach we landed on allowed us to achieve this and align important information like price and CTAs on a horizontal plane. We also solved for cases when there is no monthly cost so the one time payment expands horizontally and collapses vertically to efficiently fill and utilize the remaining space. I'm not sure you'd consider all that went into this as an end user (or be convinced at the amount of time we spent on it). But that's what good design does.
