Eternal Business. Real Life. Peer advisory groups for Christian business leaders
About us
"A Life & Business Changing Experience" Our Vision: To see Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered leaders living with an eternal perspective, in Biblical community, impacting their spheres of influence. Our Mission: Truth At Work exists to transform Christian business leaders through authentic peer advisory groups that apply biblical truth for living out our faith in all areas of life. Our Efforts: Through peer advisory groups, called Round Tables, specialized content, and member events we help Christian business leaders integrate their faith into the marketplace. Each Round Table offers a personal board of advisors to help members make the most important personal, professional, and spiritual decisions they face with wise, biblical counsel. We facilitate conversations on how to grow and lead in business using biblical principles and practices. The marketplace is a mission field and Christian business leaders can use their business as a ministry to impact the marketplace for Christ.

Mid-Year Check-in! 👀 How are your BHAGGs (Big Hairy Audacious God-sized Goals)?? Every year, Truth At Work members create BHAGGs in their Peer Advisory Groups. Whether you're a current member or have your own personal goals, take some time this month to reflect on your progress. Here are a few questions to get you started: 🎯 What are some things that you’ve accomplished so far that you’re proud of? ❎ What are some things that you still want to accomplish? ❌ Do you feel like something is holding you back? What is it? ⚖️ Are there adjustments you need to make from your original goals to accommodate for changes you've experienced so far this year? 🤝 How can your group hold you accountable in the last half of the year? Remember: Whenever you set a goal, start by praying, asking God to guide you according to His will. "Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." NEW BLOG POST ✨ In the fast-paced and competitive business world, it can be challenging to maintain a Christ-centered approach to dealing with competitors. But as followers of Christ, we are called to conduct ourselves in ways that reflect God’s love and integrity while trusting in His sovereignty as we lead in our businesses regardless of how others lead in theirs. Consider three God-honoring ways to respond to business competition, inspired by biblical principles, and how to bolster your own business. 1. Love Your Competitor as Yourself 2. Pray for Your Competitors 3. Respond to Malice with Kindness Navigating competition in business can be challenging, but it also presents an opportunity for God to further sanctify us. By remaining steadfast in love, respect, and integrity, we trust Him to guide and care for our professional endeavors. Do you resist change or think innovation is just a trend? Remember this: God was the first innovator. The very beginning of scripture kicks off with, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” in Genesis 1:1. Then we see His creativity literally come alive in the verses that follow as He continues making something out of nothing. We see threads of innovation throughout scripture, all the way to the end. One of the last passages in the Bible says, “And he who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ Also he said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true’” (Revelation 21:5). So not only was God the first innovator, but he continues to innovate even now. ꜜ Read more on the Truth At Work blog ꜜ https://lnkd.in/g3-8V9KR :: Special thanks to our friend and blog author Lisa Oates ::

It’s an honor to be part of the faith and work movement with organizations like C12 Business Forums and Convene. Thanks for collaborating for the sake of impacting the marketplace for Christ!
I’m encouraged by the growing ecosystem of the faith/work movement. Greg Leith of Convene and G.O. Kelly at Truth At Work are peers focused on serving Christian owners/CEOs in various models. We regularly exchange ideas, insights, problems and solutions - because all of our work matters, missions matter and people we serve do. None of us win by the other losing. The reach of companies with owners/executives in a faith groups like ours has doubled in the past 7-8 years, and is the fastest growing sector of CEO peer groups. There’s need for 10X the current reach, though. I’ve always valued peers and industry learning in my career. Don’t lead or learn alone!
