We're accepting nominations for our 2024 grantee partners! As an organization that believes in trust-based philanthropy, we do not require formal applications or reports from our partners. Instead, we accept nominations (including self-nominations!) for local organizations serving the Chicago community. We prioritize small-to-midsize nonprofits (operating budgets <$3M) working in our focus areas: racial justice 🖤 , gender equity 💙 , and environmental justice 💚 . Submit your favorite charity for consideration here: https://lnkd.in/gd36gffa

About us
We are a giving circle that builds collective power through collective giving. Our members choose to donate their own money to a pooled fund to invest in grassroots organizations in Chicago working to advance environmental justice, gender equity, and racial justice. We offer general operating grants to small to mid-size (<$2M operating budgets), high-impact organizations within our three focus areas. We prioritize organizations with a focus on systemic change to create long-term, sustainable solutions! We follow best practices around trust-based philanthropy and community development. We are currently recruiting our inaugural cohort of members! Member requirements: must be under 35 years old, commit to attending semi-annual meetings, participate in at least 3 learning and volunteering events per year, and commit to contributing a meaningful portion of annual gross income to the fund.
