This innovative procedure provides another option for patients with long lesions in their superficial femoral artery. This July, we’re spotlighting the need to cure sarcoma, a rare cancer of the connective tissue which affects over 50,000 Americans. Sarcoma, often called the “forgotten cancer,” impacts about 1% of adult cancer patients and makes up 20% of all childhood cancer cases. It is imperative we continue to highlight the challenges these patients face and recommit to finding treatments and therapies. Thank you to the students at McGuffey PK-8 School for the awesome drawings for our hospital president! Several months ago, Cindy read "The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog" to a class at the school in honor of Read Across America Month with the United Way of Trumbull County. As a thank you, the class sent her beautiful story-themed illustrations. We appreciate the thoughtful gesture.

Trumbull Regional Medical Center has not been affected by today’s global technology outage and our hospital, emergency room, and physician offices are open and ready to serve our community. 

Cindy Russo, President at Trumbull Regional Medical Center, was invited to a special event this week at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station to celebrate their new C-130 J-30 Super Hercules Aircraft. Thank you to the Youngstown Air Reserve Station for including us in this exciting event. We congratulate them on their newest addition!
