This July, we’re spotlighting the need to cure sarcoma, a rare cancer of the connective tissue which affects over 50,000 Americans. Sarcoma, often called the “forgotten cancer,” impacts about 1% of adult cancer patients and makes up 20% of all childhood cancer cases. It is imperative we continue to highlight the challenges these patients face and recommit to finding treatments and therapies. This month, help us spread the word and learn more about sarcoma by checking out our blog: https://lnkd.in/enbgermH. Together, we can bring more attention to sarcoma and support those battling this rare cancer. #SarcomaAwarenessMonth #CancerResearch #FightSarcoma

With kids out on summer break and left to their own devices for extended periods, it’s important that they are eating healthy snacks and not too much junk food. Healthy snacking is not about restriction but making smarter choices. Read what one of our experts has to say on the importance of healthy snacking and how to develop good habits for yourself and your children. Your mind and body will thank you! https://lnkd.in/eZnYSZ6H #HealthySnacking #HealthyLiving #WeekendWellness

Thank you to the students at McGuffey PK-8 School for the awesome drawings for our hospital president! Several months ago, Cindy read "The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog" to a class at the school in honor of Read Across America Month with the United Way of Trumbull County. As a thank you, the class sent her beautiful story-themed illustrations. We appreciate the thoughtful gesture.
