Pike County Salvation Army Director Donna Kidd (shown in the middle) accepted a check from Amy Minor, Troy Regional CCO, this week on behalf of Troy Regional employees. We were honored to receive a visit today by a delegation from the Jeollanamdo Office of Education, which is responsible for overseeing education in Jeollanam-do, a province located in the southwestern part of South Korea. Their mission is to provide quality public education for all students, ensuring that no child is left behind. They believe every child is precious, and they strive to support each child’s dreams. Their goal is to create a happy and engaging learning environment in schools, preparing students for a bright future. Led by Park Jae Hyun from the Department of Physical Health, the delegation was hosted by Troy University. Dr LaGary Carter, College of Health Sciences Dean, facilitated their visit to Troy Regional, which was intended to demonstrate the healthcare resources in a rural setting and the differences they see in Korea.
