Vanesa Cotlar, MBA thanks for the mention! And for bringing to light many communities elevating and celebrating the importance of "HR for HR". As we all know, at times, HR can be a very lonely role. So it is critical that we all have the support structure to count on through the many challenges (and also to celebrate the successes). TroopHR was founded to elevate HR pros in their roles as leaders and we believe that People Leaders need their "People people" to assist and encourage them in their professional and personal pursuits!
HR leaders need other HR leaders. Peership in our space is insanely important to our well being. HR leaders are in unique roles, regularly working with humans going through: - heightened emotion - difficult conversations - difficult decisions - loss - disappointment - mental health issues - and more. Whether we are supporting the CEO or a junior employee through a difficult moment or decision, it can take a toll, especially as we do not want to speak with anyone internally to ensure we maintain confidentiality. This is where our peers can come in to support us! They get it, because they've been through it, are going through it, or will go through it. I don't know where I'd be without having humans I can turn to during the moments where I need them most. If you still haven't found your humans, check out Retreat, PeakHR, TroopHR, Amplify Talent as starting points. They have excellent HR spaces where you can meet others to connect with! #peers #community #growth #hr
