Providing education on practical and legal issues that may impact individuals diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers
About us
Triage Cancer is a national, nonprofit organization that provides free education on the legal and practical issues that may impact individuals diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers, through educational events, materials, and resources, including a Legal & Financial Navigation Program. We host an educational blog at TriageCancer.org/blog and CancerFinances.org, which helps people manage finances after a cancer diagnosis. We are all too aware how cancer changes how those diagnosed approach everything in their lives – their finances, their job, their relationships, their future. In an instant it can feel like control is lost. In an instant a diagnosis can change everything. Plans previously made are no longer guaranteed. Never has every moment felt so important. There are new questions, new needs, new challenges. It can be daunting, tiring and frustrating for those diagnosed and those that care for them. We believe everyone should be free to focus their time and energy on what’s important to them, secure in the knowledge that they have objective, accurate information and necessary resources to make the right decisions, for them, their families and their future. We’re here to educate and empower those diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers as they focus on living their best lives beyond diagnosis.
