It’s #WorldAutismAwarenessDay🧩 making today an ideal time to recognize those on the spectrum and celebrate their immense accomplishments. TrainingPeaks is thrilled and honored to be even a small part of the epic stories of Sam Holness and Adrienne Bunn (pictured). These two individuals were the first openly autistic athletes to ever complete Kona in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Sam and Adrienne broke boundaries, stomped stereotypes, and finished one of the toughest races in the world. Their stories and perseverance are something that all athletes can learn from and admire.
