The Timbers Company Winter Park team and their families enjoyed a summer outing at the Kennedy Space Center. What a pleasure it was to explore our nation's storied history of astronomic innovation, highlighted by a captivating presentation by veteran astronaut, Dr. Don Thomas. The interesting and personal stories shared by Dr. Thomas provided a unique perspective into his journey of becoming an astronaut to the powerful effects of teamwork in prepping for and executing a successful launch mission and safe return to Earth. As an organization, we embrace and cultivate teamwork, one of our core values. The day was filled with fun, education, and served as a great reminder of what working together towards a common vision and goal can accomplish.
