Paywatch Secures US$30 million in Funding - Largest for an Earned Wage Access Solution in Southeast Asia 🎉 We're thrilled to announce that we have raised $30 million in funding from a mix of equity and credit facilities - $14 million in Series A equity investment and $16 million in credit facilities from major banks! The equity round was led by Third Prime, Vanderbilt University, and the University of Illinois Foundation. This marks the first time the endowments of Vanderbilt University and the University of Illinois Foundation have directly invested in a tech startup in Asia. Citi has participated in the $16 million credit facilities, along with other major banks. Paywatch has processed over $58 million in salaries through its platform and is on track to reach over $120 million by the end of the year, solidifying its position as the largest EWA service provider in Asia by transaction volume, number of client companies, and territorial coverage.
