ECC vs. SAP S/4HANA
SAP introduced S/4HANA in February 2015 to modernize ERP but more importantly the goal was to SUPPORT YOUR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
How does S/4HANA impact your business when compared to ECC?
ECC uses several older databases like Oracle and SQL Server, which can be quite complex. It has many tables that need frequent adjustments to work smoothly.
S/4HANA runs only on #SAP HANA, which is much faster and has a simpler data structure with fewer tables.
Results?
→ information is processed in real-time
→ operations are more efficient
ECC's user interface isn't very easy to use, so it requires more training.
