Bioplastics at a competitive price using renewable resources from organic waste that completely biodegrade in soil

About us

Plastus is a biotech start up that converts organic waste into bioplastics (PHA) which is produced through the fermentation process of bacteria. The integration of PHA’s should lead to a decrease in fossil fuel use and significantly reduce carbon emissions. Plastus resin is the plastic of the future. Plastus resin is a 100% scalable, biodegradable bioplastic made from renewable carbon sources that don’t compete with food security. Plastus resin is made through the fermentation process of bacteria and has a shelf life of 18 months. It will only start to biodegrade when it’s in a microorganism rich environment. What makes it different than most other bioplastics is that it has $0 end of life cost because it doesn't need to be collected and sent to special industrial processing facilities to biodegrade it. It is actually food for the soil because it's made from naturally occurring polymers. We use industrial organic waste as feed stock.
