You've already seen the video of the custom-installed Picklr court at Comerica Park during a Detroit Tigers home game a few weeks prior, thanks to our friends at Sport Court and The Picklr - Midwest Area Developer. But what is the story behind it? It began with a creative idea between Tigers Account Executive Noah Suitt, M.S.A., and Picklr Area Developer and franchise owner Nichole Scholl. "I've joined more than 100 pickleball Facebook groups across our three states (IN, MI, OH). I saw Noah post in a group that the Detroit Tigers were hosting their first pickleball-themed game, and he was trying to promote the game to the pickleball community." From there, we began our partnership with the Detroit Tigers and proceeded with installing the Picklr-themed pickleball court at Comerica Park The success of this collaboration has already kicked off plans to bring a Picklr court to a Tigers game next season. #LinkedInSports #SportsBiz #Pickleball #MLB

Fastest growing sport, younger and younger demo etc. But all growth comes with challenges. Indiana will officially open its doors to a second Picklr club later this fall. The Picklr Noblesville, located at 9847 Cumberland Pointe Boulevard, will be the second of more than six clubs to open in the greater Indianapolis area. The location is a joint venture between Drew Brees' BV Pickleball Clubs LLC and Pickle Indy LLC, owned by Ron Brock and David Gilreath. The facility will include: ▪  57,000 sq. ft. ▪ 19 indoor courts ▪ 3 championship-sized courts ▪ Upper-level viewing and lounge area "The City of Noblesville, like many communities in the U.S., has seen a growing interest in pickleball. Earlier this week, we soft-launched our McKinney, Texas facility to a sold-out audience with a panel featuring Ben Johns, the world's number one pickleball player, and Dave Fleming, the lead pickleball announcer. The pair led a Q&A that explored the future of pickleball, their careers, and fun questions from fans in attendance. Our grand opening to officially open The Picklr in McKinney will be tomorrow, June 8th. People are flocking to the sport in droves and every important indicator is trending in the right direction. The Picklr is right in the thick of it. Our co-founder, Austin Wood, was a multi-sport athlete growing up, playing basketball, football, and running track. Once those playing days were over, pickleball opened its doors as another outlet.
