When the Club opened in 1915, games of chess were enjoyed not only in the billiards room (now the Tap Room) but also in the Library. Come enjoy a contemplative game of chess in the quiet surroundings of the Club’s beautiful Library. The table is from the first Yale Club building at 30 W. 44th Street, and the chairs are two of the original Library chairs which have been in use since 1915. #YaleClubNYC #YCLibrary
