SURF. LIVE. On a beautiful overcast Saturday, May 4th in North County San Diego, the Stand Up Veterans Foundation and our partners, GenRation, hosted 12 amazing Active Duty and Veteran heroes for a day of renewed camaraderie, connecting with the healing power of the ocean, and improving their ability to surf on a stand-up paddle board. The feeling of stoke was off the charts all day!! 🏄♂️ 🏄♂️ 🏄♂️ We'd like to thank the amazing instructors from GenRation for their outstanding instruction and insight: Ian Cairns, Daniel Hughes, and Sean Poynter! Finally, we are planning our next retreat in Punta de Mita, Mexico for November. SURF. LIVE. Our 5th Stand Up Veterans retreat is now in the "complete" column!! We hosted 10 amazing Active Duty and Veteran brothers in Punta de Mita, Mexico for a week of surfing (or learning to surf 🏄♂️ !), camaraderie, and stoke! We also got to see the introduction of "SUPSquatch!!" More posts on that coming in the future!
