🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes: The Tuskegee Airmen 🇺🇸 Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Memorial Day began after the Civil War as Decoration Day and became an official holiday in 1971 to commemorate all who died in military service. We would like to highlight and honor the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American military aviators who broke barriers and fought with valor in WWII. approximately 150 Tuskegee Airmen died in combat or accidents during World War II, and 32 became prisoners of war. Let's take a moment to reflect on their courage and dedication.
