We help each other out," explains Seeing Eye puppy raiser Rick Goy in a discussion with WFMZ-TV. Watch the full video to hear from Rick and Seeing Eye Area Coordinator Shannon Rager about the importance of our puppy raising program and how we are still looking for more puppy raisers. "We are using the information [from the Public Access Barriers for Guide Dog Teams survey] to try and raise awareness among individuals, among business owners. We are working in particular with Uber. We are trying to educate law enforcement," explains Melissa Allman, The Seeing Eye's Sr. Specialist of Advocacy & Government Relations and a Seeing Eye dog handler, during a recent interview with ABC7 Los Angeles. Watch the full interview to hear about The Seeing Eye's work in addressing access issues and how hearing from over 500 guide dog handlers across North America has helped inform the work ahead of us.
