Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate and empathetic Social Worker to specialize in supporting a wide range of underserved individuals. As a Social Worker, you will play a critical role in providing individualized counseling, and advocacy to help these populations navigate challenges and access necessary resources. Your role will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, building relationships with community organizations, and promoting the rights and well-being of your clients.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the unique needs, strengths, and goals of underserved individuals.
· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and relevant stakeholders.
· Provide counseling, support, and crisis intervention to address mental health, substance abuse, and trauma-related issues.
· Advocate for clients' rights and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, healthcare professionals, legal advisors, and community agencies, to provide integrated and coordinated care.
Qualifications:
· Master's degree in social work or a related field from an accredited institution (preferred).
· Valid social work license or eligibility for licensure (LCSW or LMSW preferred).
. Trauma therapy experience preferred.
· LMSW's looking for supervision as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Reveille may pay for this supervision in addition to salary.
· Previous experience in social work or behavioral health field , preferably working with the underserved is a plus.
· Strong knowledge of the unique challenges faced by these populations and familiarity with available resources and support systems.
· Excellent assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills.
· Culturally sensitive and aware of the historical and social factors affecting underserved individuals.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
· Proficiency in relevant computer applications and record-keeping systems.
· Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (if required for the position).
