We had a wonderful scholarship distribution meeting last night with over 30 of the 47 in attendance to receive their certificates and scholarship awards. Students unable to attend were on mission trips, attending training or summer classes, working, or in the midst of summer internship programs. We had recipients drive in from as far as Austin, TX. Degrees represented range from Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Math, Construction Engineering, Energy Management, Education, Nursing, Marketing, and more. We were honored to have the Jeff Wenzell family in attendance to present the prestigious Wenzell Scholarship award, which is awarded to the highest scoring candidate. We around proud to announce the 2024 winner, Frank Diego Zaidle sponsored by his father Frank Zaidle of Magellan. Frank is majoring in Quantitative Economics. Congratulations Frank!

I just wanted to thank everyone that came out last Friday to the 1st Annual Gold Cup Invitational Appreciation Shoot. Especially to the Gold Sponsors that joined us because that is what it was all about, saying thank you! I also want to thank the great club member companies that helped make the event such a huge success; Allan Edwards Inc., Darby Equipment, Knighten Industries, Sunbelt Actuation, and Tulsa Rig Iron. We also had a few of the club vendors step up and support the event as well; Advertise Anything, The Gadget Company, and Sports World Inc. Thank you all, we appreciate your ongoing support of the club! It was a little warm before the sun went down but after that the night was perfect. We had some great food catered by The Real Taco, Glenpool, OK and it was the real deal! After dinner and sunset we had the 1st ever Glow Shoot and wow, was it really cool to watch (and shoot a them too)! That was without a doubt the highlight of the event. Snake Creek Shooting Sports was a gracious host and they have a 1st class facility, they took very good care of us. Holland Racing was out with us showing off their race car, and they were kind enough to donate the evenings "adult beverages"! After the shooting was over with DJ 2 Legit fired up the music and everyone just kicked back and enjoyed the evening. Okie Drone Photography was out in full force with their drones and cameras. They did a great job for us and there will be plenty more pictures and videos to come. We will post a link as soon as they are ready. Lastly we want to thank AA Event Pros who helped us put the event together, they did a fantastic job! Our winners for the evening- Matt Kesner and David Collins from Cleveland Integrity teamed up with Mike Tucker and Frank Perkins from Okie Construction and took the top spot with a team score of 267. Our high all around went to Travis Bell with Enduro Pipeline shooting an 83! We could not have all of these great events without the ongoing support of our Gold Sponsors. We had 40 Gold Sponsors at the Spring Shoot, which was a record for any club event. We thought it was about time that we gave back to them and hosted an event in appreciation of what they do for us. Tis the season of golf events and Manhattan Pipeline, LLC is in the swing of things! Last month, the team participated in the Pipe Liners Club of Tulsa golf tournament led by Jason Tackett and Dalton Fanning. I had the opportunity to golf with INTEGRITY SPECIALISTS, LLC and spent the day laughing more than golfing which isn’t surprising if you have ever golfed with me. Last week, Manhattan Construction Company - Houston hosted a tournament where I saw some familiar faces and met some fabulous new Manhattan ladies.⛳️ #golfseason #networking #manhattanpipeline

Last month, Darrell Meinen and Kevin Haley enjoyed a day on the greens to support the ongoing philanthropic efforts of the Pipe Liners Club of Tulsa. This ~75 year old organization is a wonderful example of the industry coming together to advance pipeline engineering, maintenance, and operating practices for the benefit of the industry.
