For over 30 years, The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley has perfected the art of flavor to meet the highest standards of the most discerning chefs, pastry chefs and bartenders. Long standing relationships with our growers and support of their sustainable practices enable us to source only premium fruits harvested at the peak of ripeness. Quickly processed and frozen to retain absolute freshness, our purees, specialties and blends are consistent in taste, texture and color, and contain no artificial sweeteners, additives or preservatives. Our robust flavor line-up of purees, concentrates and blends are consistent in taste, texture and color. Ingredients derived from natural sources, such as cane sugar, pectin, colors and flavors are used as much as possible.

True to their name, The Perfect Purée is committed to producing the perfect, high-quality fruit purees for a variety of products. You might be familiar with one–the Strawberry Shake we’ve served since day one! As a female-founded and led company, The Perfect Purée brings a few special things to the table. “There’s a level of care, in my experience,” says Michele Lex, President and CMO, “that comes with a group of women”. This goes back to original founder Tracy Hayward, Lex shared, who taught herself the manufacturing and foodservice businesses from the ground up 36 years ago. The Perfect Purée grows, processes, and jars all their products in California for a smaller carbon footprint, and to ensure they maintain personal relationships with their growers, who are held to the highest standards. “It’s all about knowing where things come from and where they go,” says Lex. “We’re sourcing quality on our behalf–at the end of the day, we’re consumers too.”
