The Obsidian Collection Archives

With a firm commitment to supporting Black Legacy and Modern News outlets, we are boldly creating a new method to preserve and disseminate the cultural achievements of Black people that is tailored to the modern era in which we live. Our organization is creating a virtual portal that will bring together the photographs, music, literary links and imagery of Black artistic expression in one easily navigable space…a collection for the people…an Obsidian collection. We are enabling academics and novices alike to access a plethora of images black culture images through a single user-friendly portal that is quick, easy, impactful and immediate. Our members have access to Archive Appraisals, participation in online digital museum exhibits, managing licenses and permissions, digitizing images, publishing, cataloging archives, traditional public exhibits and educational curriculum.
