We are so excited for David! He received keys to his own apartment. David entered our Healthy Living Program in October 2023, seeking help for alcohol and substance use. He has successfully completed our Recovery Program and has committed to continuing 12-step recovery meetings at The Midnight Mission for the rest of the year. 🌟 Incredibly proud of our 99 Summer Associates who dedicated their time to making a difference in their local communities during their time with Husch Blackwell this summer! 🌟 Associates from 18 of our offices came together to address a crucial issue: food insecurity. Through various community service projects, they showed remarkable commitment, contributing to initiatives that help ensure everyone has access to nutritious food. We are grateful for their efforts and the positive impact they have made. Huge thank you to all our Summer Associates for their dedication to serving their community 💙💼🍎#HuschBlackwell #CommunityImpact #SummerAssociates #FoodInsecurity #MakingADifference #UncommonTogether Austin: Central Texas Food Bank Chattanooga: Chattanooga Area Food Bank Chicago: United Way of Metro Chicago Denver: Metro Caring Houston: Compassion in Action Jefferson City: Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri Kansas City: Harvesters—The Community Food Network Los Angeles: The Midnight Mission Madison: United Way of Dane County Milwaukee: United Way of Dane County Minneapolis: Second Harvest Heartland Nashville: Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee Oakland: Alameda County Community Food Bank Omaha: Heart Ministry Center Phoenix: Phoenix Rescue Mission Springfield: Ozarks Food Harvest St. Louis: St. Louis Area Foodbank Washington, DC: Capital Area Food Bank

The LAist is working on a story answering the question, "Has homelessness changed in your neighborhood since Mayor Bass took office?" They have a quick poll asking readers whether homelessness has gotten better or worse during the past year and a half. Your perspective on homelessness in your neighborhood is invaluable. We urge you to take part in this poll and share your unique insights. LAist, second only to the Los Angeles Times, is a significant source of news on homelessness in the region. Your input is not just important, it can help shape a crucial story. 📋 Take the poll here:https://lnkd.in/gp_VPxMb Thank you for your participation! Don't forget to take the poll and share your insights.

We are incredibly grateful to the Electric Moon Foundation for an unforgettable Studio Day with The Wild Zone, the talented youth band from HomeLight Family Living at The Midnight Mission. Our kids had an amazing experience recording their first song at The Capo Center, thanks to the incredible support and expertise of Princeton from Sonic Gold Productions, Jason Heath & The Greedy Souls, and the entire crew at the Capo Center. The song addresses important topics like environmental issues and the power of unity in building a brighter future for all. There is great power in collaboration, and we are grateful for these non-profits who create hope and facilitate recovery through music. Our kids truly shined, and we couldn’t be prouder!
