  • MSG's Cleveland office celebrated Men's Mental Health Awareness in June. As mental health becomes a more common topic in the workplace, it's still worth noting that men are often less likely to seek help. MSG employees have access to our employee assistance program (EAP) which offers support and resources for all kinds of personal challenges. If you’re living with mental health concerns, speak with your doctor, a friend, or co-worker. For crisis support, call or text 988 or chat online at 988lifeline.org. #988lifeline #mensmentalhealth #eap

  • At MSG, we are intentionally building a culture that engages, values and respects ALL team members so we feel empowered to proudly contribute our technical skill and creative spirit. In 2023, our DEI Advisory Board developed this Diversity, Equity and Inclusion statement during a day-long retreat. MSG leadership later endorsed it and formally included this statement in MSG's handbook. It's purposely written to include every single employee from every background and walk of life. We welcome everyone and seek the unique contributions of each individual. This diverse set of perspectives is one of the reasons we bring the best solutions for our clients.

  • Congratulations to Aaron Parsons for passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam! • Congratulations to MSG's Cultural Resources team, including Maura Johnson and Dan Hershberger, for their work on securing the Paulding Downtown Historic District designation. MSG and the Community Revitalizing Paulding (CoRP) group submitted the application last September to the Ohio Historic Site Preservation Advisory Board (OHSPAB). From there it was sent to the National Park Service for review and consideration to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was approved and listed in March 2024. CoRP is meeting in June to discuss the listing and present benefits to local property owners. In addition to a sense of community pride, the designation offers property owners additional opportunities for incentives like grants and tax credits, which may spur new investments in the downtown area. The National Register listing does not obligate or prevent any repairs or alterations. The Historic District centers on the Paulding County Courthouse and buildings surrounding the downtown square and contains nearly 50 buildings, the oldest dating back to 1876. MSG supported CoRP through this multi-year planning process. #nationalregister #historicdowntown #1876

  • Juneteenth became a national holiday in 2021. The name itself is a combination of the words “June” and “nineteenth.” It commemorates the day news of the Emancipation Proclamation reached enslaved people in Galveston, Texas in 1865. This was three years after President Lincoln had issued the proclamation. It is also known as Emancipation Day, Freedom Day, and Jubilee Day.
