With over 100,000 patient visits each year, they offer primary care, pediatrics, OB/GYN, behavioral health and dental services as well as provide healthcare enrollment, language translation and other patient support. The organization is namesake of renowned, Emmy-winning TV news personality and current “CBS Sunday Morning” host Jane Pauley, an Indianapolis native and longtime children’s and mental health spokesperson. Since it’s 2009 inception, Pauley remains a support of JPCHC’s vision for improving the overall health of its communities.

Last week we celebrated a major milestone for affordable prescription care for Indiana’s most vulnerable. In conjunction with our specialty pharmacy partner, AndHealth, we hosted an official ribbon cutting for the JPCHC Pharmacy. Now, local residents and patients of JPCHC primary care across Indiana have access to low-cost retail, prescription, and specialty medications, diabetic testing supplies, over the counter medications and vitamins, and more. Special thanks to Senator Andrea Hunley, Representative Blake Johnson, Deputy Mayor Judith Thomas, AndHealth CEO Matt Scantland, and JPCHC CEO Marc Hackett for their impactful remarks. The JPCHC Pharmacy accepts all Medicaid plans and works with the federal 340B drug program and manufacturers to get the best prices possible for the community. Because JPCHC is a nonprofit, the pharmacy is able to provide much better service than big box retailers, taking the time to help healthcare providers and patients find the best solutions at the best price possible.
