The Hasten Hebrew Academy

Our mission is to create an early childhood to 8th grade learning environment that fosters the intellectual, spiritual and social growth of students from diverse Jewish backgrounds. In pursuit of academic excellence, we emphasize critical thinking, creative skills, and life-long learning. Our curriculum is individually tailored to enable each student to advance on a path of academic achievement. As a community of educators, we foster in each student a deep understanding of and appreciation for Torah tradition, Jewish history and values to help them develop into confident and knowledgeable Jews who will lead lives of purpose and meaning. We also instill a strong commitment to Zionism and the State of Israel. We are developing the next generation of leaders to sustain and strengthen the vitality of the local and wider Jewish community. Vision Statement To be a community day school that welcomes all Jews, develops strong Jewish identities, nurtures intellectual, social, and spiritual growth and success, and forges lifelong friendships.
