The Future of American Economic Opportunity through Employee Ownership Education, and Advocacy.
About us
The ESOP Association (TEA) represents the interests of ESOP companies in the United States, including small and large companies in every sector and in all 50 states. In total, ESOP companies employ more than 10.6 million people and contribute $1.377 trillion to the U.S. economy annually. The ESOP Association is the powerful voice of the ESOP community and the leading advocate for a policy agenda that helps employee owned companies compete, grows employee ownership here and abroad, and creates jobs across the United States. Our Vision We believe that employee ownership improves American competitiveness…that it increases productivity through greater employee participation in the workplace…that it strengthens our free enterprise economy and creates a broader distribution of wealth…and that it maximizes human potential by enhancing the self-worth, dignity, and well-being of our people. Therefore, we envision an America where employee ownership is widely recognized as a catalyst for economic prosperity…where the great majority of employees own stock in the companies where they work…and where employee ownership enables employees to share in the wealth they help create. And we look for our nation to become for all the world an example of prosperity with justice through employee ownership. Our Mission To educate and advocate about employee ownership with emphasis on ESOPs. Looking for Insurance? https://esopassociation.org/TEA-health-insurance Follow us on Twitter: @ESOPAssociation

A building everyone said he was crazy to buy - way ‘too big’ and ‘expensive’ and they would never fill it up. #6: Tom, Paul and Mim Dunn cutting ribbon on a building expansion in the 80's during record high interest rates and a tough economy - a big leap for the 1st and 2nd generation owners of the business. #7: Tom sitting on top of their only 'family car' and CK Delivery truck at 8 years old. #8: CK Supply’s original HQ - a one room storefront on a side alley in downtown St. Louis - a business Paul and Mim Dunn purchased in 1955 by selling their house, draining their savings and borrowing money from their friends and family. #ESOP, The ESOP Association, The National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO), Family Business Magazine Family Enterprise Legacy Institute (FELI) Family Business Review The Family Firm Institute - FFI
