We are here at the beautiful Firestone Country Club for the first round of the 2024 Kaulig Companies Championship. Davey's a proud partner for the “Birdies ‘Fore’ Trees” program, which will plant a tree for every birdie made by a PGA TOUR Champions professional on Firestone Country Club's signature 16th hole, nicknamed the Monster, during the tournament. Be sure to stop by the Davey Tree Courtyard located between the 16th and 17th holes. Enjoy the shade of the large oak trees, picnic tables and views of the 16th hole. We're excited to see how many trees will be added to the Northeast Ohio tree canopy. ⛳🌳 #BirdiesForeTrees #FirestoneCC

Thank you to all our Davey crew members who are aiding our utility clients with Hurricane Beryl recovery efforts. We have 375 Davey employees traveling to Texas to support local Davey crews in the state. Safety is a core value here at Davey. We define it as "we protect and care for each other." This value extends beyond just Davey employees but also to the clients and communities we serve. We hope everyone stays safe and remains vigilant during these recovery efforts. Leave a comment to wish our crew members well. #theDaveyway #DaveyDifference #LivingOurValues #HurricaneBeryl

At Davey, we pride ourselves on living our values and love celebrating our employees who embody our values. Meet Philip Bauerle, plant health care (PHC) technician, Residential/Commercial services, North Pittsburgh office. Developing a high level of expertise in any craft takes repetition, training, goal setting and curiosity – all things that Philip has incorporated into his everyday work as a PHC technician at Davey. Since joining the company, he’s earned the International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist® credential and completed the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences (D.I.T.S.), Davey’s flagship training program. The opportunity to work for a company that allows him to take ownership of his work – both literally as an employee-owner and figuratively through support from management as he works toward professional goals – keeps him focused and working hard. “There’s so much employee engagement around training and lots of energy behind it from our managers, pushing us to increase our skills and our abilities,” says Philip. “It’s great to work for a company that engages its employees and helps them achieve their goals.” #LivingOurValues #Expertise #theDaveyway #DaveyDifference

Trees provide amazing benefits. Davey is committed to preserving our urban forests and green spaces. We do this through TREEmendous partnerships, like the "Swing for the Trees" program. Davey's proud to partner with the Cleveland Guardians for the Swing for the Trees program, where one tree is planted in Cleveland for every home run hit at home or away games by a Guardians player. More home runs ⚾ = More 🌳's! Go Guardians! #SwingfortheTrees #ForTheLand

Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸 We hope you have a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends! To celebrate Independence Day, we wanted to share trees that have symbolic meanings that align with some American ideals. Next time you see one of these beautiful trees, we hope you remember their symbolism and that it inspires these ideals in you. Have a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends!

While in a meeting, David Poghen, general foreman, Eastern Utility services, and his team heard a loud boom caused by a car accident. All 23 employees ran outside to check on those involved in the accident, including a disoriented woman who fell to the ground. Noah Bender, foreman, retrieved a child who was in the backseat of a smoking vehicle. “I’m super proud of my team,” Poghen said. “They instantly started flagging to control traffic and got everyone to safety while waiting for the arrival of Emergency Medical Services.” Pictured from left are foremen from the the Eastern Utility services team who jumped in to help in the aftermath of a car accident, including Jamie Smith, Noah Bender, Chris Shreffler, Austin Armagost, Kristian Yeaples, Brandon Lewis, Grant Uber, Donald Yasher and Curtis Lynch. #Integrity #LivingOurValues #theDaveyway #DaveyDifference
