We are thrilled to be featured by Channel 4 News in Pittsburgh for our public part project, Tomorrow: Aliquippa. This project is designed to involve its host community at every stage: inspiration, design, selection, and finally, installation. Aliquippa has been our first stop, and Tomorrow: Beaver Falls is going up right now. Stay tuned for more public art through The Genesis Collective! https://lnkd.in/gUD946iK

This has been such a rewarding experience! Congratulations to Guy Ruff, the city of Aliquippa, and to everyone who gets to see the beauty, power, and hope of the people of Quip captured by Guy and delivered to the community. #tomorrowaliquippa
This beautiful video was created by Christopher Padgett of Human City Creative. Showing all the smiles of the children, and a nice well rounded view of the mural. Thanks to TGC (The Genesis Collective) for leading “The Tomorrow Project: Aliquippa,” and the The Heinz Endowments for funding it.

We are honored to be recognized for our work, especially since the award bears the name of the late Shon Owens, who worked tirelessly on behalf of his community.

The YWCA Greater Pittsburgh and POISE Foundation saw our vision for a creative economy--a culture of art and creativity--for Beaver County. Did you know that a thriving art scene in a community boosts the economy, improves education, fosters lower crime statistics and safer spaces, among so many other positive outcomes? We are getting the work done with the resources discussed in this article.
I'm thrilled to share that The Genesis Collective and Beaver County has benefited from this fund. Educational programming, public art, exhibits, and paying women creatives and artists of color are all happening as a result of this opportunity. Check out the article to see what I had to say about it! https://lnkd.in/g7-_Jh_V
