We are beyond thrilled to be honored with the Helping Hands Award from Texas Department of Family and Protective Services for our work with Adult Protective Services each year during Tree of Life. A little background: Each year during Volunteer Appreciation Week in April, the Department of Family and Protective Services asks their team to nominate any volunteers or organizations that they feel have gone above and beyond when it comes to helping vulnerable Texans in their community. This award was for the Department and Family Protective Services, which includes programs of APS (Adult Protective Services), CPS (Child Protective Services), CPI (Child Protective Investigations), and FBCE (Faith Based and Community Engagement). Submissions for awards were taken from the entire State of Texas. They gathered all of the nominations, the committee put it to a vote, and unanimously voted for the Tree of Life project! Our operations team recently came together for a night of Pac Man, Donkey Kong, and Dance Dance Revolution competitions, among others. The competition was fierce but in the end we all came out winners for having built stronger relationships across branches.

Texoma Community Credit Union is thrilled to announce that T.C. Sanders has joined our team as our new Consumer Loan Manager! T.C. brings an impressive background in the banking industry, with over 15 years of experience in credit unions and banking institutions. Within his tenure at other organizations, T.C. has worn many hats, from Personal Banker to Private Banker which includes Consumer Lending, Commercial Lender, and most recently Mortgage Lender. T.C. combines his dedication to learning, extensive experience, and unparalleled insight to better understand the needs of our members, employees, and business partners. He is a graduate of Midwestern State University, and also holds an MBA from Sam Houston State University, specializing in Banking and Financial Institutions, demonstrating his dedication to staying current with the latest complexities of lending, technology, and marketing. Beyond his professional life, T.C. is deeply engaged in our community. He serves on the board of Hospice of Wichita Falls and is the Executive Pastor of his church, Overcoming Word Praise Center.
