We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the San Angelo Health Foundation for their generous grant. Texas Ramp Project was awarded $30,000 to build wheelchair ramps for residents of the Concho Valley. Our mission is to build wheelchair ramps for low-income elderly or disabled community members through referrals from social service agencies. Texas Ramp Project came to the San Angelo area in 2014.This funding will be instrumental in supporting our mission, which is to enhance the lives of individuals with mobility challenges by providing them with safe and accessible ramps. Building Freedom for the Homebound     Have you ever changed a person’s life in a single day? The Texas Ramp Project Team does its hundreds of times a year! We build wheelchair ramps for disabled or elderly people who can’t afford to buy one. In a few hours on a Saturday morning, we give these folks the freedom to leave their home again – the home where they want to remain but whose steps have imprisoned them.
