🏎️🔧 The latest issue of Race Tech Magazine dives into the fascinating world of Ferodo's racing. From the friction materials formulated in the laboratory, through the manufacturing process and packaging, Ferodo is adapting to a range of challenges facing the #automotive industry. “The journey to develop better brake pads never ends,” explains Ferodo Racing’s General Manager Sergio Bonfanti. “Things have changed hugely in the last 30 years. It’s not enough just to know about the brakes anymore; you need to understand the dynamics of the entire vehicle. And the pace of development is such that it’s not a sprint, it’s a continuous marathon.” With a shift in R&D focus from lab-led to track-driven development, Ferodo is at the forefront of innovation in the racing industry. 🏁

On June 23, Rivian and engineering driver Gardner Nichols will return to The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with even higher goals than last year. This time they will compete in the Exhibition Division with a second generation R1T Quad-Motor, equipped with Monroe’s KINETIC system that is standard on the R1T and R1S models.  The KINETIC damper system adapts to changing driving dynamics to maintain optimal vehicle balance on the 156 curves.
