Join us for an engaging LinkedIn Live session on the theme "Industrializing Open Transport," where Vish Mathur, TIP’s Head of Global Engagement, and Arturo Mayoral López de Lerma, TIP’s TPM, will discuss the transformative potential of open and disaggregated network technologies in the transport network domain. At FYUZ 2024, this track will highlight the latest advancements in hardware, software, and operational strategies that are reshaping transport networks. Attendees will hear from industry leaders and technical experts as they discuss promising trends such as IPoDWDM networks with ZR+ coherent pluggables, Telco AI solutions' rise, and the chipset market evolution to meet future network demands. We will unveil operator appetites for these technologies and present the latest open and disaggregated transport solutions from industry leaders. The track will assess the adoption pace of these solutions from various perspectives, including Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 operators, OEMs, NOS software providers, and system integrators, offering insights into market adaptation and future strategies to accelerate adoption. Integration and interoperability are among the most significant barriers to the widespread adoption of open technologies. This theme will tackle these challenges by discussing the vital role of open testing and standardized APIs through case studies and expert panels, emphasizing collaboration, standardization, and advanced AI solutions. Key sessions will include the evolution of the merchant silicon market, the state of open optical transport business, the role of open forums and standards bodies, and the integration of AI technologies in open transport networks. Don't miss this opportunity to gain comprehensive insights into the current status and future trajectory of open transport networks. Register for Fyuz to hear these discussions and more in our main stage sessions and breakout panels. Want to create live streams like this? Check out StreamYard: https://lnkd.in/eCrp-da5

Proud for #telecominfraproject to be leading and participating in this excellent project. Quick reminder...ARIANE (Accelerating RAN Intelligence across Network Ecosystems) - co-funded by both UK DSIT and Industry - has 4 goals: (i) test & prove out the technical & economic benefits to operators of 4 operator defined rAPPs/xAPPs that can help to manage the performance of an Open(RAN)network (QoS optimisation, energy saving, advanced traffic steering and performance probe of OpenRAN interfaces) (ii) form a technical view into how to ease the onboarding and portability of these applications across multiple RIC platforms (VMWare, OSC RIC, Viavi RIC Tester) (iii) develop Technical insights into application conflict and options to manage conflict (iv) be the first OpenRIC architecture to build in quantum safe security measures without impacting on performance We're half way through with our 4th Face to Face workshop being held and hosted by #HCLTechnologies this week. This time round, we had our colleagues from UK DSIT being able to witness live demos of some of the xAPPs/rAPPs that have been developed and now being integrated into the BT lab in Adastral Park for carrier grade testing. Big up to this consortium - an excellent and supportive working environment amongst this pioneers of industry; and on track progress against milestones.
