Aruzhan Koshkarova is a software engineer who has interned with Fidelity Investments and Morgan Stanley and whose work has been featured by the BBC. But before that, she was a Technovation Girl. She created QamCare, the first personal security application in Kazakhstan, to help keep people safe by sending their location to trusted contacts. She won the Technovation grand prize in 2017 for her app and continued to sharpen her skills at Breakthrough Tech AI @ MIT. Her sensitivity and extensive knowledge of machine learning models help make girls safer in her own community and around the world. Technovation helps girls realize that local innovation can create global change.

We are proud of our growing network of judges. This season we welcomed so many new companies - a special thank you to Quantori and Ilya Vasilchenko for helping encourage Technovation Girls!
We are immensely proud to have been part of this season's Technovation Girls! This year, nearly 11,000 girls from 69 countries developed 3,200 tech solutions, tackling issues ranging from elder care to air pollution. Quantori's Ilya Vasilchenko served as a judge and remarked, "As a first-time judge, it was truly inspiring to support talented teams of young girls from around the world as they developed their innovative tech products." Congratulations to all the participants—you are all changemakers! Great kudos to Quantori Georgian team of dedicated women who helped make the Technovation Girls Sakartvelo 2024 happen: Nona Kuloshvili, Technovation mentor Nino Dzamashvili, Technovation mentor and jury Tinatini Mekvabishvili, Technovation jury Salome Naskidashvili, Chapter Ambassador for Technovation Girls in Georgia

This year our Ambassadors were more incredible than ever. The Global Ambassador Award recognizes excellence not just based on numbers, but on leadership, collaborative work, and program advocacy. Maiko Furuse, one of our award winners from Japan, recruited girls from all 47 states, ensured equal access to tech, and organized an amazing Regional Pitch Event in Tokyo with important business and government organizations. She also made incredible connections with other chapters: "We organized joint workshops with the Mexico chapter, where Japanese and Mexican participants exchanged cultural insights and project ideas. This collaboration not only broadened participants' perspectives but also encouraged innovative thinking." We are so proud to have powerful visionaries like Maiko as part of our Technovation Ambassador Network. Waffle NPO

Emma is a 3-time Carnegie Hall Performer, MIT Solver, and the youngest participant of the White House’s Opportunity Project. But before that, she was a Technovation Girl. She invented an app called Timeless to help Alzheimer's and dementia patients stay connected to their loved ones. Her project won her first place in 2015 and has gotten the attention of media around the world including Fast Company, Inc. Magazine, BBC and it went on to win the MIT-Solve Brain Health Challenge in 2017. Her creativity and passion for music and languages (she speaks 3 and is learning 2 more!) contribute to her successes in computer science. Emma’s journey shows you don't have to be just one thing - Technovation helps cultivate skills that translate to innovation in the real world.

This year, the UN's World Youth Skills Day is focusing on Youth Skills For Peace and Development. Through Technovation, girls develop skills that help foster a culture of cooperation and peace, enable them to be responsible global citizens, and address sustainable development goals through innovation. Year after year, our alumnae are a driving force for change in their own communities and continue to show the world the "potential of young people as agents of peace." Announcing winners is such a joyful part of our season. But seeing our own Technovation Girls get jobs in companies we partner with, and then return as judges - that's what it's all about. Thanks for sharing Dayane Lima.
[English] In 2020, I took part in my first international competition: Technovation Girls. That's when I also programmed my first app with a group of high school friends. We used block programming, so you can tell that I was really just starting out 😅. But it was this experience that made me realize how much I loved developing solutions through technology. In 2021, after gaining more experience in technology, I had the opportunity to speak at the Technovation Summit to encourage other girls to enter the STEM field. In 2022, I was hired as a Junior Developer by NTT DATA, a partner company of Technovation Girls. This year, I had the opportunity to represent the company as a judge for Technovation Girls 2024, evaluating solutions based on my experience and encouraging the next generation of female programmers. There were over 14,000 evaluations and more than 3,200 projects submitted this year. Ever since I got into tech, communities have supported me to continuously evolve. I'm happy to give back a little of all the support I've received, and I know I have so much more to offer! Thank you NTT DATA Europe & Latam and Technovation for enabling me to build a future where technology is inclusive and positively impacts society! #Technovation #NTTDATA #TechnovationGirls #womeninSTEM #girlsinSTEM
